        how much did williams weighin going into the fight? the way he punched tonight he must had 20-25 lb weigh advantage which is unfair and if so quintana's team better protest.

            Well, Cotto DOMINATED Quintana and was the first to beat him. Williams lost to Quintana... please do not forget that fight.

            Williams still does not have a resume nearly as heavy as Cotto.

            That said, good performance from PW.

                Williams only weighed 156 for the fight.

                    Williams just cost me $20, but oh well. Damn good performance. Gotta admit I was wrong. No way I thought he'd be strong enough at 147 to KO Carlos.

                        nobody should take away his performance, but williams never punched like that and i think the weight had something to do with. they should have a rule 12-15lb weight gain thats it.

                        cuz with a serious amount like 17-20 or more you can really hurt fighters like that. same way with cotto at 140.

                                definately surprised the hell out of me. Since Money May is out of the picture it looks like smooth sailing for the winner of Cotto vs. Margarito to take on Paul Williams. I think it will definately have to happen if either man is going to claim welter weight supremacy. Mayweather stepped out and the Welter Weight division stepped up to show that they can still put on a show.
