Sort of off the subject, what type of preparation do you have to do to call these older fights on ESPN classic? I'm always hearing the announcers throwing out things like "just a couple months ago...", he currently...", etc. So it seems like you got to come in prepared and do a good acting job as well lol

To be completely honest with you, I never did ANY preparation whatsoever. I asked Joe in advance and he said that knowing me it would be better if I just winged it. Just talk boxing like we talk on the phone or in the audience at a fight. I would have a copy of each guys record in front of me in case I needed a date or something to refer to and, of course, so we wouldnt say anything about a fight that hasnt taken place yet. But the thing for me was that my job was to tell, in my opinion, what each guy should do to win so even tho I knew who would eventually win I could still say what the eventual loser SHOULD do if he expected to win
