Let's see HBO is racist but loves Pacquiao,Cotto,Gamboa and LOVED RJJ in his prime and still wants to do business with him with the likes of a faded Tito and Calzaghe.
The sport as a whole is better off because he didn't wanna fight the best in his division. Cotto,Pacquiao and Pavlik are doing that and they do it in exciting fashion unlike PBF.

That somthing people don't understand. Boxing needs the BAD GUY. Boxing ain't **** without Bernard Hopkins who is now past it and Mayweather. I am sick of all the Mr. Nice Guys. The guys that always say "He is great fighter, It will be a good fight" That **** urks me! Problem here is that, Back then defensive fighters were respected. Right now, fighters like Bernard, Winky, Mayweather aren't liked by fans who wana see 2 guys kill eachother. Problem is, THERE IS NO FIGHTER WHO CAN PUT A HURT ON THESE 3. Considering he was in the highest grossing PPV fight in history, I wouldn't say boxing is better off without him.

Boxing needs an exciting, albeit, controversial fighter like Mayweather right now besides Pacquiao.

If Roy Jones can make a dramatic comeback, it will bring some much needed life to boxing once again.
