Anyway, I know anyone can be a genius with hindsight but it does seem like a bad idea to pick a southpaw as a late replacement when you know that Mitchell hasn't got any southpaw sparring partners. He got caught by that left hand far too many times.

Saw this fight.

Seemed a bit of a weak K.O but can't argue. Must have hurt.

Mitchell's eye was shutting up bad.

Mitchell needs to sort out his defense otherwise he'll never reach his potential. Tonight it looked like it was the first time he'd ever faced a southpaw; I lost count of the times he got hit flush by the straight left. He showed minimal head movement and just kept eating punches.

But he came through in the end and showed good heart in not taking a backward step. He broke Estrada down well in the end. It was strange punch to end the fight, but Estrada didn't want anymore so I felt the stoppage was fair. He needs to get back in the gym ASAP and tighten up that defense until he takes on a higher ranked opponent otherwise he'll get KO'd.
