As for Donaire, Donaire would be pretty competitive with Mijares, but I feel he would lose a clear decision to him. Donaire has a good shot of beating Montiel too. I can see Montiel beating him (read above why), but I think I would take Donaire. I like Donaire. He's a good fighter.
This is the kind of post I expect from you. good one. I too believe that montiel did beat Gorres, but at a very tight scoe that coud have gone either way. You should have noticed that Montiel, whenever he face a good boxer (ie Mark johnson) he has a tendency to pose and do nothing a la junior Witter. This has been why he tends to lose as much round on the scorecards.

Like i said i saw the fight last year. The televised and the download. I don't have the download anymore since i have to reboot my computer(lost a lot of boxing/mma fights).

I gave Gorrez more than 7 rounds cuz i see him winning those rounds. Now, if you see him getting less than that, then its your opinion on how you see it. Each fans have their views of how they see the fight. Just look at Barrera-Marquez fight, some have JMM winning but some(including me) have Barrera winning.

Even the Penalosa-De Leon fight. I was suprised that Ring mag and a few medias have Gerry winning cuz the way i saw the fight, Gerry did lose. Gerry was landing the cleaner punches but Ponce was throwing hundeds of punches and landed more. Even though i disagree with the comptubox(whatever you call it), about the numbers of punches landed by Ponce( i believed he landed less), he landed more than Gerry. I have Ponce winning, 8-9 rounds.

Yeah...I can't believe anyone scores that fight for Barrera. It was an even fight for the first 6 rounds going 3 a piece and then Marquez just dominated him. Barrera had some moments here and there, but Marquez was very clearly winning the rounds. If you watched the HBO version and wasn't really paying attention that's probably how you got 7-5.

                    1) Montiel won fair and square.

                    2) Gorres got his gimme' in the 'draw' with Darchinyan that sure as hell was not.
