I wouldn't call Bernard Hopkins "Technically correct" in the same sense as Marquez, Mayweather etc... Bernard just bounces off the ropes with a flying head butt and gets in the odd right hand or two before clinching, really nothing "technical" about it.

I would. He rolls the pucnhes correclty, he has brilliant defense, always keeps his chin tucked, he has a good range finding jab, amazing lead right hand. Works inside the clinch. Is really sneaky. Etc.Comment

I'll give you that, he does very good feints and is hard to hit but I wouldn't put him top 5 for this particular category. His style is unique, I don't see anyone out there like him.Comment

Mayweather certainly isn't technically correct. He's gifted, talented, amazingly athletic, but a good technical boxer he is not. Very similar to RJJ in that respect.
Mikkel Kessler is highly skilled, technically, so is Klitchko. One you've missed is JMM. One of the most perfect pure boxer/punchers I've ever seen, and without doubt, the best counterpuncher in the last 50 years, to my knowledge. He's just about the complete package.Comment

Barney Hopkins doesn't really have that advanced technical skills. Just loads of ring smarts, and the discipline to stay in shape and keep training. He's also one of the dirtiest fighters ever to have lived.Comment
