Pound for pound list isn't about how you look in the fight. They are only based on accomplishments and the fighters that you have beaten. Despite Pacquaio not looking impressive against another pound for pound alum in Marquez, he is number two pound for pound and have been for a long time. He will be bumped up to the number 1 spot since Mayweather has retired.

For those saying JMM beat Pacquiao. Pacquiao beat JMM by a close fight. Now, since your mentiong boxing media like the Ring mag having JMM as the winner, Ring mag and others also said the fight was close that could have gone either way, the decison must stand and respected.

Pac is the number 1 P4P.. Pac already jumped 7 Divisions where he started.. He became the Linear Champ at 112,126 and 130..

He is a 4 Division Champ and going to become a 5 Division Champ this month

        WBC 112 Champ
        IBF 122 Champ
        Ring 126 Champ
        WBC 130 Champ
        WBC 135 Champ

He knock Morales out twice and he knock Barrera in 2003.. KNOCKOUT!.. Pac beat Marquez although it was close, Pac Knock down Marquez 4 times!

Joe Beat Kessler (Decision not a blowout)
He beat a 43 year old Hopkins by a SPLIT DECISION Only.. Which a lot of Press in the Frontrow had Hopkins winning.. Not only that JOE GOT KNOCKDOWN by a 43 year old man.. Pac is rated number 2 by the Ring and majority of all the people.. Joe was kept and hide in his country to keep his record perfect..

Floyd has also robbery decisions like the 1st Castillo fight and also won by a thin decision against Oscar.. Every fighter has close calls..

          Exactly.

in my honest opinion Pavlik should be ranked higher then Calzaghe.

              Mayweather is stil number 1.....

If he goes a year without fighting then he loses the number 1 spot to Pacman.

im british, love Joe C, but i think Pacman is numero uno cause he has went from weightclass to weightclass and beat the best in the respective divisions....JMM is awesome and no matter what ppls opinion was the W went to Pac so i think in terms of multiple achievements across division it has to be pac....not discrediting Joe C 11 year reign as champ...thats amazing even if the division is weak!....i can see arguments for Joe but IMO its Pac all the way!

Agreed, Pacmans resume is outstanding no matter how you look at it.

Unlike others, didn't lose his last fight, or any fight ever for that matter. Calzaghe is Undoubtedly no. 1.
