Corrales nearly died (seriously) in getting down to the weight, and, as his trainer said, he could hardly get Corrales out of his room (where he was playing with computer games and brooding) to train. A couple of weeks before the fight Corrales had a difficult dental operation and had to break training for a while too. I've wrote all about this a few days ago,with authentic comments by a distinguished writer who was present at the weigh-in. Also observationl comments by Larry Merchant. If Corrales had been normal, I think he'd have mangled Mayweather. Mayweather would have been running like hell anyway. So please scratch the Corrales fight.

His BEST fight was against Emanuel Augustus. I've heard him say this every time he was asked. And if you watched this fight you'd agree.
