Did you see Ndgoujo vs Myabe last night? Ndgoujo's left eye was closed and had a lot more facial damage, but he clearly won. Face damage doesn't mean that much because it was just from Gorres landing his jab.

To be honest, Gorres could have easily won that fight by using his jab and straight left and constantly moving. He was ****** and fought on the inside and got beat up. Gorres' shots mostly landed on the gloves for a lot of the rounds. The Ring Magazine and the Boxing digest don't mean much in this case. Even if they are credible doesn't stop it from being a clear Montiel win.

Round 1 was close too so you could have it 115-111 for Montiel. Still 115-111 for Gorres? Insane

I honestly thought Gorrez won... I guess the fight could be interpreted differently.. I thought there were rounds that were close I guess you gave em to Montiel and I gave em to Gorrez.. But alot of writers, not just BD or Ring thought Gorres won that fight... Montiel seems to be calling out Gorrez' name lately and Gorrez has been long calling for a rematch. Hope they do it again. Honest opinion I think Montiel takes the second fight cuz a weakness in Gorrez has been exposed.. He fades late in the fight but has been working on stamina.

Well I think Gorres could possibly win a rematch if he boxes and doesn't stay on the inside. Keep working that jab. Jab. Jab. Jab.

That's why Mijares beats Montiel very wide imo. He has 2 inch height advantage and a 3 inch reach advantage.
