Pavlik may have more pop than popkins but aint in the same league as far as counter-punching and timing go. Pavlik will be hitting fresh air all night.

I personally think Joe by UD and quite a clear one as well, he just comes from to many angles and wont stop punching till the last bell. Joe has one of the most underrated chins in the sport, watch the Byron Mitchell fight..he got knocked down, was a little stunned but recovered SO quickly, blitzed him and stopped him.

Joe wont KO Pavlik but Pavilk wont KO Joe either...

uhh... isn't that what everyone thought about Lacy? You're crazy if you think Calzaghe is easy to be hit either. Hopkins had some decent shots on Calzaghe but I don't think Pavlik has the one hit power of Hopkins, not to mention Hopkins can throw something other than just a jab and a right straight. Calzaghe more or less nullified Kesslers simpleass 1-2. Pavliks more of a volume puncher that takes you out with cumulative damage anyway. Hopkins turtles and waits for that one perfect counter to get you in trouble. If Hopkins had the stamina or style to fight the way Pavlik does, he'd hit harder.

yeah but lacy punches are wide. hopkins & kessler ran out of gas. pavlik can throw punches & stay on joe c like in the miranda fight. but joe does come from all angles & he has that 15 rnd stamina. should be a good fight.

amen to that, infact I'd suggest they close down their boxing scene account because they obviously know ****all about the sport. If Hopkins couldn't knock him out with a straight flush punch, if Kessler couldn't, no ****er can.
