That doesn't sound good that he doesn't like being a fighter and doesn't particulary love boxing. Especially going in with a guy like Pavlik. If he get's beaten up brutally, which I think there is a good possiblity of, then his chances of retiring are pretty good.

He's going for a pay day.

Yeah that's what it seems. Well for the beating he's probably gonna endure the pay better be decent. I just hope he at least tries and doesn't cave in at the first sign of trouble.

I see. Lockett fights only for the money and he's already looking to retire.

Don't be surprised if the fight gets too brutal Lockett takes a knee and the full count.

I think this one's over before it starts.

I think people think he's gonna lose because he keeps it real.

He almost keeps it too real. He's well aware of the things that are happening to him and he admits he isn't a star attraction, or that he doesn't even like boxing. He calls out his management and the Welsh boxing superteam and admits he's at a disadvantage against Pavlik.

Everyone has an idea that fighters should be superhuman and never admit any faults or anything negative happening to him for fear of ruining their superman aura.

Lockett is probably the most motivated he's been in his entire life, he just might not give the impression.

Even if he thinks it, it shouldn't of been said.
