I doubt Floyd would beat Oscar in his prime. I guess it's possible for him to slip away with a decision, but I would say his chances will have seriously shortened. Oscar is still out of his prime and had not fought in 9 months. Floyd beat him but really did not look as impressive. I doubt even more that Floyd could beat Shane in his prime, but just my opinion. Oscar was landing in the beginning but Floyd soon figured him out.

The fact that Oscar fought well enough to make it close and didn't get completely owned made some people believe he deserved to win. He mighta got a draw at best but I don't think he coulda took the decision just by throwin more left jabs. That alone wasn't gonna cut it. He needed to clearly hurt PBF wit his power to win that fight and he didn't do it.

oscar could've won it with the jab if he could hit floyd with it consistently, but floyd would've found a way to counter it.

Oscar in his prime at 140 or 147 would outwork and outland Floyd, possibly stopping him if the met at Jr Welter. It would be close at Welter, but from 140lbs and below, Oscar was a complete wrecking machine. If Floyd had all those problems with Castillo, Burton and Carlos Hernandez in the lower weight classes, Oscar would kill him.

hopkins carried dlh... he said it himself that he wanted to prove that he could box w/ dlh... IMHO if hopkins wanted to bully, dominate and destroy dlh he could've but didn't because he and dlh already made a deal that hopkins would sign with gbp and become a partner.
