    My animosity towards Floyd Jr.

Ok, I may be called a Floyd basher by some, that's a given, but on the real, let me lay it down like this. There is no doubt that Floyd will go down as one of the great ones, ok. But, the dislike I got for him, and I'm sure many will agree with me, is that when he does leave this game, he'll be leaving while not having done everything in the sport that he could have done. There could have been so many thrilling fights for him at Welter, however he's not taking any chances. Oscar's fought em all, that's why he's a household name and the richest in the sport. People will forever remember his name; not likely for Floyd. People will always remember actions and results; people will eventually forget mythical P4P ratings.

No, he's left too many question marks; not challenged himself

Why would De La Hoya have to fight Winky or Forrest? He took on Bernard..
Middleweight has never been a comfortable weight for DLH anyway, he isn't a middlweight by choice.. he is a middleweight because he allowed himself to get fat.

Because Forrest had just beaten Shane..that's why

Oscar fighting and beating Vernon would have been HUGE..

You know this..but you'd rather play dumb.

Hoya fought Hopkins because HE THOUGHT HE WAS TOO OLD..

"I'd never let that old man beat me" is what Oscar said after Hop KO'd your hero Trinidad.

It's impossible to face all the best. I think Forrest and Wright were on the lower end of the totem pole anyway, I mean, where are they now. Forrest sucks man, he'll lose to Mora.

Somebody made a thread before about PBF bein remembered for what he did vs who he ducked. If he retires after DLH II, he'll be remembered as a ducker. He could do a lot more for himself and for the sport by takin on all comers. There's a ****load of good fighters in the top 10 at WW, and if he wnt thru all of em, even if he lost a fight or 2 along the way, no one could question his legacy. But that's the issue: he won't tolerate the thought of losin his 0, which means he won't tolerate fightin the best comp at his weight.

My thoughts exactly, what a shame.

I think floyd is only 31 and will ABSOLUTELY fight all the rest of the fighters.... eventually... he loves the spotlight way too much retire...

If he retired today, he MIGHT make top 20... hes definitely hall of fame status already...

But I believe he will continue to further his legacy... and I also believe we WILL see a loss, if not a KO of him sometime later in his career... 35, 36, 37... when hes chasin the BIG dollars but cant quite do it like he used too... like we ve seen with EVERY fighter in the past...

but I believe when hes done, he could get inside the top 10... he still has time to do it.. theoretically hes got another 7 - 9 yrs, if he choses too..

A MW title, from ANYONE, would be HUGE for his status...
