margarito is this generations chavez sr.

margarito reminds me a lot of julio cesar chavez sr. both these men are relentless come forward fighters. both like going toe to toe. both of them have the most lethal kind of power because they are very hard hitting fighters but there shots dont knock you down. this has caused many fighters to take extended beatings that have shortened and ruined careers. they have no regard for human life. both of them love punishing to the body. they both love to give the fans a knockout and bring them excitement.

these 2 men are very similar true mexican warriors. the only difference is margarito is much more intimidating and so many fighters are scared to face this man. chavez had a much easier time getting fighters in the ring with him.

I see a decrease in speed and accuracy in Margarito, but he makes up for it by an increased workrate.

Really though, their power is about the same, which is amusing to me. We talked about how that is the kind of power that can ruin a fighter. Not enough to KO you with one shot, but enough to hurt like a mother****er, and really damage someone if they take enough of it.

I see Arce being a little clone of Margarito though. Their fighting style is almost identical.

To be honest with you, I see Cotto being this generation's Chavez... sort of. He is probably a little too economical and a little less eager to come forward every second, but he does have that kind of unappreciated skill that you wouldn't expect from a great body puncher.

I was shocked when I watched Chavez vs. Camacho, because I never, in a million years, would have imagined that someone who came forward all the time would have that kind of speed, and ESPECIALLY accuracy. His accuracy that night was unreal.

Margarito "similar" To Chavez? Again You Show Your Brain Level. Margarito Is More Like A Pepino Cuevas, Or Yoriboy Campas Than Like The Great Chavez. Idiot. Join A Golf Chat Or Bingo, Cause Boxing Ain't Your Game Son.

They dont even come close. Just watch highlights from Mildrik Taylor and Chavez. Then watch any of Margaritos best fights and see how it looks in comparison. Chavez was amazing I thought at one point nobody would ever beat him. But age catches up and your once greatness fades. but Margo has to defeat ALOT of TOP boxers to be on Chavez's level

You are one deluded fan I must say.

He is nowhere near being a Chavez Sr.

By the way, I think Castillo might have been this generation's Chavez.

JCC was more technically skilled but I see the comparison.
