The way I see it for every 1 punch Margarito throws, Cotto has an opportunity to land three. His punches are that damn wide, but they do have power. Cotto has to be careful the first few rounds, dig in to the body, use his jab, get out of the way, counterpunch. He clearly has more tools than Margarito and a better offensive arsenal, The only thing Margarito has over Cotto is a better chin and workrate (Even though usually with a low connect percentage) but does that mean he will take the bodyshots well? We will have to wait and see.Comment

Have you noticed that those with the least ammount of plain and basic common sense, are the same people who are using this phrase? Too funny. They remind of children who when asked why they did something, all they could reply with is, because. lol or I don't know.Comment

Thanks for being one of the ****** Cotto ****riders. Cotto will box Tony's heads off but Floyd would not be able to do so to Cotto? Dream on fanboy. What did Santos do? He brawled. He did better when he boxed. Cotto is not going to brawl with Margarina. Cotto is going to box Tony's head off. Did you not hear Cotto's messege to Cintron? Was that not an indication that Cotto will not brawl? I think so. When ever Santos began boxing, he was beating Tony to the punch. Cotto is not one dimmensional and he will show off his stuff on the 26th. If I were Margachito, I would try and box more. Margapapita can box, he just likes to brawl a lot more only because he has a tough beard. It should be a great fight and he who plays the better game of human chess, shall win IMO. Tony still has a punchers chance and that should never be overlooked.Comment

You do know that Cotto is a natural southpaw? And about the size Cotto is one inch shorter than Joshua Clottley, and Margarito had a lot of trouble with Clottley.Comment

**** Santos. Why the **** do people bring this up. Never saw the 1st fight but he robbed Tony the 2nd time. Bull**** hometown decision, and a technical decision at that. Williams is a different story. Tony beat his ass in the 2nd half of the fight, but whether he waited too long to get off or Paul just wouldn't let him, he didn't do enough in the first half of the fight. I wouldn't argue wit a 6-6 draw in that fight, but he didn't win. I had it 7-5 Williams. But yeah, styles make fights, so that has nothin to do wit a Cotto fight cuz he ain't an oversized lefty who throws 100 shots per rd. And Tony ain't Corley or Torres or whoever else that gave Cotto hell. July 26 is a whole new fight for both guys.Comment
