when did cotto start fighting like santos or williams??

Cotto is nothing like Williams, the opposite in fact, but he is not wholly different than the Santos that Margarito faced. I have only seen in that one fight, but they said he was usually a boxer, whereas in this fight he mostly stood in front of Tony punching it out with him and there was quite a lot of inside fighting.

He obtained his victory with straight punches through the middle which Cotto is one of the best at, and had the kind of big chunky frame that should allow Cotto to at least try to live with Margarito in the strength department.

If I had to compare how I see the Cotto fight going then that is the Margarito fight that gets closest IMO, but I'm not saying the result will be the same.

He doesn't fight like any of these men , he fights like Miguel Cotto which is actually much worse for Margarito. Margarito will be broken down and knocked out.

Cotto is a better fighter than Santos are Williams.
Cotto will put the pressure and try and break down Marg all night.
I doubt Marg will be able to stop Cotto.

Also Margarito has been down twice on body punches, What is Cotto's best punch? Left hook to the body...He may take it to the chin well but we have to see how he takes it to the body against one of the best body punchers in the game right now in Miguel Cotto.

Also can Margarito take lowblows well?

you need to educate yourself if you think cotto fights like santos. no way in hell cotto can go toe to toe with margarito like santos because hes too small and his chin is to fragile.

What did Santos do? He brawled. He did better when he boxed. Cotto is not going to brawl with Margarina. Cotto is going to box Tony's head off. Did you not hear Cotto's messege to Cintron? Was that not an indication that Cotto will not brawl? I think so. When ever Santos began boxing, he was beating Tony to the punch. Cotto is not one dimmensional and he will show off his stuff on the 26th. If I were Margachito, I would try and box more. Margapapita can box, he just likes to brawl a lot more only because he has a tough beard. It should be a great fight and he who plays the better game of human chess, shall win IMO. Tony still has a punchers chance and that should never be overlooked.

You're always telling me I need to educate myself. Surely if you've seen the Santos fight you can see what I'm talking about? They are not that similar, I agree, but in particular Santos in that fight showed some Cotto-like body strength and Cotto-like straight, crisp punching?
