When the fight gets made Cotto would be the younger fighter with less pressure on him to win the fight. Cotto would also well-known after the fight no matter what happens in the ring win or lose. well, he had been talking about getting to oscar since 2003, i remember the NDOU fight where they had a suggestion about it made by floyd himself. another thing was that oscar wasnt really near floyds class at the time at 135, whereas cotto is the guy NOW that floyd could fight whos in his weight class, p4p, and the number 1 contender to his undisputed title which he holds.

Thank you! I keep seeing guys like Barracuda Breath, and the rest of the tag-a-long gang mention that Floyd is doing to Cotto, what Oscar did to him (Floyd). Oscar and Floyd were like 2-3 weight-classes apart when Floyd was working his way towards a potential fight with him. Of course he had to wait. Cotto on the other hand, well......u already explained it in the above bold.

I have yet to hear Cotto say he wants to fight Floyd..

Kellerman and Merchant..in seperate pst-fight interviews could not get Cotto to say he wants Floyd.

I agree ,also the press lots of times lies about what a person said (refering to what Cotto said about mayweather).Remember Kostya Tzu and Lennox was suppose to come out of retirement 1000 times.

I never heard Cotto say those things on camera that The press claims he has said about Mayweather.Cotto is not known to talk trash,its not in his nature.
