the reason i feel floyd wont fight cotto is the reason he's been giving all this time.

Floyd currently believes that his work up till DLH has certified him as an ATG which I actually agree with. I dont really think he believes that he is better than Robinson, but says that just to cause controversy for self promotion. So at this point of his career, he has already satisfied his hunger in the BOXING realm and now wants to crossover to the CELEBRITY realm and he wants to do this by only engaging in fights that will bring him the most attention and money, not the most praise and appreciation. Cotto, according to him, won't help him achieve that.

So because I don't agree with how he is conducting his business as a BOXER, you call me "in objective" yet you cannot produce one ounce of proof to back up your claim. that makes you a liar. that makes you a propagandist. that makes you a typical extreme floyd fan. and here is a perfect example of your shameless propagandist spin.



i'll ask you to show me what instigated this post and you will change the subject or claim you don't have time to search. as a matter of fact, if you WERE to search the subject matter of the posts and threads i make, you would find that making these types of statements wouldn't be in your best interests because the majority of this board knows my sentiments and beliefs and you lose credibility with every letter you type from that computer that you "snicker" in front of.

ROLF, Floyd says he won't fight Cotto until he establishes a fanbase. Similar to Oscar and Hatton right? They got a fanbase which means they'll bring in big money and PPV #s, something Floyd can't do on his own. His fear is moreso that if he doesn't fight an opponent that brings out big #s that he could say were all because of him, he'll understand just how bad nobody wants to pay to see him fight just like in the Baldomir fight where people walked out on it. Bob Arum has been hyping things up more, he hasn't been discouraging Cotto to fight Floyd at all. If anything he wants Cotto to fight Floyd, but Floyd will not initiate anything because of many excuses he has made in the past. True if Cotto would open his mouth & talk **** then maybe the fight could happen. But he just isn't the type of person to talk all that much ****, its just not in his character. Plus Floyd may still be holding out for his money.
