but only because if he doesn't Hatton will continue to fight on, win or lose, and end up getting hit too much by someone with the power to cause significant lasting damage.

I don't like to see this happen to any fighter, but Ricky is one of the nice guys of the sport, and has a fantastic television career ahead of him after boxing due to his wit and very likeable personality.

It would be a real shame for a man of Ricky's calibre to join the "got hurt cos I fought too long" club.

Hopefully being KO'd again by Paulie's pink powder puffs will show Ricky that his punch resistance has gone, and all the weight gaining and losing has taken a dramatic effect on his body, meaning he is no longer cut out for the fight game.

He's already fighting on too long, look at the Lazcano fight.

Well his dad is basically his manager so you'd think he'd solve that problem.

Ricky has been hurt badly in basically every fight including the Tszyu fight and thereafter. Even Castillo nailed Hatton a few times. Collazo basically had him out, Urango hurt him to the body very badly. Mayweather hit him with crisp clean on the button shots from round 6 on. Lazcano hurt Hatton with single left hooks.


Hatton is going to be KO'd again. Obviously not Paulie. Paulie is going to get ****d. Whoever fights Hatton after Paulie is knocking him out IMO. It would be sad. Offensively he is still the same fighter.
