David Haye Is A Total Bum.

From watching his fights all I have really seen in him is his sledgehammer right hand. He is a simple 1-2 puncher nothing special.

Everything else is average. Average Footwork, Average Boxing skills.

He has been able to knock the **** out of some of his opponents. Current record 21 wins with 20 knockouts and 1 loss

I still feel he will eat Klitchko jab all day, plus he has only been fighting at the cruiserweight leve so I dont know if he will be used to fighting such tall and heavy handed guys.l

Why is this clown so popular? Ok he has power but he has no chin! His technique is very unpolished and I'll bet all of the measly points that I have that IF he makes it high enough to fight Klitschko or Peter he'll get knocked out! I would love see all of the Haye fans that are constantly posting about how this guy will clean out the heavyweights vanish like the Hatton fans. Do any of you remember how many Hatton post there were before the Mayweather fight ? It was annoying as hell. Now you may find a few. I once said I thought Haye was a bum and retracted it because I'd only seen one of his fights. I recently viewed 4 fights and I'm telling you all, he's not what you crack him up to be.

Beating the reigning Champ who had come off his best win ever in his own back yard.

How many other fighters past or present can say they were undisputed?

He was also a stellar amateur with a Silver World medal.

Perhaps you should think about your evaluation of what a Bum is....then you may get some serious debate.

Haye is young , hungry and as a heavyweight at 6ft 3" with his speed power and skill....yes he has plenty , he can do well.
Especially with today's crop of mediocrity.

Love him or hate him you have to give him props for trying to make the heavyweight devision better and more exciting, he has brutal power and a weak chin, so his fights will always be entertaining

I've read many of your post and found many of them to be well thought out and generally unbiased. This is not a thread to entice anyone to argue. I really want to understand what everyone that likes him sees that I don't. I've watched MANY fighters (like the one in your avatar) during their prime and I can honestly say I'm missing the boat on Haye. I'm more interested in your thoughts as to why he's viewed with so much optimism than an argument.

Well as you can see, i am a big Haye fan. Personally i find him exciting to watch, because he has very good hand speed and lots of power and is very athletic. He is chinny, i cannot deny it but watching a fight where one punch can end it (to me at least) is very exciting. But we are all entitled to our opinions.

Could i ask which fights it was that you watched of him?

Haye is not a bum nor nowhere near it. He is the best cruiserweight in world but not the best Heavy...
