Exactly. So obtaining the WW lineal title wasnt in Floyd's plan once Baldo beat Judah. Right? Then why when the topic of Floyd ducking Margarito and fighting Baldomir instead comes up, certain fans always say "because Baldomir was the WW champ, and Floyd wanted the WBC strap" ? How bad did he want it, if he was willing to face Spinks instead?

Your wrong. Baldomir was nothing but a limited Journeyman who got lucky by catching an unprepared Judah. I dont remember ANYBODY getting excited about a Floyd/Baldomir bout. Nobody wanted to see that crap!

Look, I'm a fan of Floyd's but he took the easy route by fighting Baldomir. It's 2008, Baldomir is nowhere to be found...guess who's still around?
Good k for u too. Thanks for seeing through all the b.s

Look, nobody denies that Baldo was the easier fight. But, do you think that the fight would have happened had Baldo not held the belt?

Just because he looked at other fights doesn't mean he didn't want the WBC WW belt.
