Even as a Floyd fan i can see where deeval is coming from here...

It was always my understanding that Mayweather fought Balomir as he was the lineal champion at the time. But what he says makes sense, if he wanted the titles why go after other fights before hand?

If he had only gone after Mosley i would say that he wanted a bigger fight (Mosley being more popular than Baldimir and Margarito), but Cory Spinks!?

I am a Floyd fan, but i wont bother to try explain that. I know nothing about Spinks and dont want to, so could not justify why Mayweather would fight him.

Except...he wouldn't have been undisputed at 147. And he wasn't after beating Baldomir. I didn't know all three belts were on the line.

Look, I'm a fan of Floyd's but he took the easy route by fighting Baldomir. It's 2008, Baldomir is nowhere to be found...guess who's still around?

What's so hard to understand here? If he went after other fights before Baldo then maybe HE WANTED THOSE OTHER FIGHTS MORE.

At that time, a lot of people picked Spinks to beat Mayweather. That would probably be a very close fight because of the way they both fight.

Nobody really knows where Floyd's Priorities lie other than Floyd..

Exactly! Thank you Abosworth. You yourself are an unbiased Floyd fan. Good K coming your way.

                      Ah thanks for the info.

If people were picking Spinks to win then surly that meant the fight would have been slightly viable?....

But, as stated i can see where deeval is coming from. But like abosworth said, no one really knows Floyd except himself.
