    i forgot about that one.

I remember watching that fight and thought it was going to be a CLEAR decision for spinks (as i had him comfortably ahead) and they gave it to phillips that was so surprising my jaw dropped when they awared phillips the fight.

I definately would ask for a rematch if i was spinks; i definately thought he had the fight won.

Anyway, he fought Satoshi Shingaki and knocked him out in the 9th round.

The scorecards at the time of the stoppage:

      80-72 Fenech
      80-72 Fenech
      80-80

      What the hell?
Shingaki came over to OZ thinking he'd have an easy night & got the shock of his life.
Fenech charged him from the opening bell & just never let up - won every round.
At most you might of given Shingaki one even round, but that would be if you feeling sorry for the guy, because he was not having a fun time.
