I dont know what even rounds are for. I NEVER give even rounds. If you watch closely and pay attention you should know who wins a round.

      1980-06-20 145 Roberto Duran 145½ 71-1-0
Olympic Stadium, Montreal, Quebec, Canada L UD 15 15
~ referee: Carlos Padilla | judge: Harry Gibbs 144-145 | judge: Angelo Poletti 147-148 | judge: Raymond Baldeyrou 144-146 ~
      ~ WBC welterweight title ~

Originally they announced it 147 apiece, but it was 148-147 for Duran. I thought Duran beat Leonard more clearly, although Ray held his own and even finished better.

So Gibbs had it 6-5-4 for Duran. Poletti had it 3-2-10 for Duran. Baldeyrou had it 6-4-5 for Duran.

Geez, pick a winner for the round.

I believe in scoring rounds even, just not most of them. If you can't seperate the winner and the loser of the round, you should score it even. Otherwise you're using a dubious criteria for giving the points.

I agree. If rounds are really close or nothing really happens, I score it even. Round 10 in Cotto-Mosley is a good example of "**** that round was really close, even"

I think I scored Quintana-Williams with 2 even rounds too. That's pretty rare.

Well with close rounds id lean with a bias, like im sure most judges do, thats why a mexican fighter would want a mexican judge to possibly give him a close round when there is nothing else to judge on.

It was an evenly contested bout. LMAO no seriously what the ****? Judges like that should be fired quickly.

The scorecards at the time of the stoppage:

                    80-72 Fenech

                    strange it is...

but what about the spinks/taylor fight? i think i had taylor winning all but 3 rounds or something and one judge scored it 116-112 for spinks...

                    thats another strange scorecard.

Some of these judges need to be SERIOUSLY evaluated or have their liscences revoked.

I seriously don't think anything can ever top Doug Tucker's scorecard:

                      Christian Mijares vs. Jose Navarro

                      117-111 Mijares
                      116-112 Mijares
                      120-108 Navarro (Tucker's scorecard)
