      LOL...

You and your pathetic double standards.

Robinson does not pick the most dangerous fight out there, because there is more money somewhere else. It's not a duck.

Mayweather does not pick the most dangerous fight out there, because there is more money somewhere else. It's a duck.

The worst part is that you don't type/think this bull**** because you are a major fan of Robinson, but just because you are a major Mayweather hater

The Charley Burley "duck", or "case of avoiding" was one example, Cocoa Kid is another fighter whom Robinson is said to have avoided.

However, when Ray is sometimes criticized for not fighting the more dangerous/less financially rewarding black fighters, such as the Black Murderers Row, it seems most of them were bigger anyway than Robinson.

Sure, he could have gave away 15 pounds to them like he did to LaMotta, but why? Why hold it against a fighter for not wanting to fight a guy 12-15 lbs heavier?

But he's fighting in that division now. The weigh-in procedures have changed. So has the pay scale, so guys for the most part fight less often nowadays. I have little doubt that Ray Robinson, who said he never enjoyed boxing and it was all business for him, and was brilliant at the negotiating table, would be going for the big paydays like a De La Hoya rematch and enjoying a fat HBO contract if he were in Mayweather's place right now. Most fighters would take the De La Hoya rematch, but it is what it is. A rematch that does very little for his legacy, regardless of the fact that most guys would do the same.

Robinson faced 12 Hall of Famers for a combined total of 29 fights against these Hall of Famers. Fighters of the past like him usually tend get more of a pass on the "ducks", not only because people are ignorant about the past, but because of how often they were fighting, often against quality fighters.
