Mosley v Cotto II builds up Cotto's name more and will hype up a showdown between Mayweather and Cotto, after Mayweather beats Oscar again...

Funny, i didnt see Shaefer mentioning anything about a Mosley/Cotto rematch prior to Shane's fight against Zab getting canceled. They are looking for a high profile fight for Shane, and i respect that, but there is absolutely no reason for a rematch of this fight. Shane even said himself that he was beat by a better man that night.

This is just about trying to get Cotto a little more beat up before Mayweather has to face him. I mean, cmon. Margarito and Mosely and then Mayweather? That's absurd, especially when he soundly defeated Mosely.

If Cotto beats Margarito, which I doubt he will, then Mayweather should lose the P4P title if he doesn't face him. Mayweather has to face the winner of Margarito-Cotto, or he isn't even the best in his own division. You lose your title if you refuse to face the #1 contender. That's how the sport works. If he isn't the best in his own division, then how can he be P4P #1? Seriously. It's that simple.

Ye but being how close their first fight they has was, why not. Their first fight was great so why not another since Mayweather is fighting DLH a second time and might go for Hatton again. Cotto can't wait that long for Mayweather and Mosley will need an opponent too. Since Judah was injured I don't see anything wrong with Cotto vs Mosley 2

thats the same thing i was thinking all along even tho i think mayweather will win a fight with cotto the longer he waits the easier it will be

Cotto has said it himself hes not waiting around for Mayweather.
Cotto could fight clottey if he wins,or williams if he wins and decides to stay at 147.
