Selling Cotto-Mosley II to the fans is ridiculous. Cotto-Margarito will easily eclipse anything Cotto-Mosley was about and anything other than Cotto-Mayweather afterwards would be nothing more than an anticlimax.
+1 on that, so it should happen NOW!! Im tired of waiting and hearing excuses. If Cotto beats Mayweather he will have to face bigger and better oppositions, maybe moving up to middleweaight and challenging those champeens

Similar to Pacquiao-Velasquez/Morales-Raheem twin bill and De La Hoya-Sturm/Hopkins-Allen III.

Why weren't people throwing their arms in the air over these super stars taking such simple competition? Because it led to big fights.
      exactly.............

Then boxing wonders why its getting outshined by MMA. Because of **** like this. MMA gives its fans the fights they want to see. Too bad i cant say the same for boxing.

Cotto beats Margarito and that should be enough to fight Floyd, if Cotto beats Margarito then that will be TWO people who at 1 time were considered MAJOR threats to Floyd and before Floyd could man up here comes Cotto and beats them, currently I can say Mosley but now if he beats Margarito he will have eliminated TWO of the biggest threats to Floyd. Floyd is just sitting back and letting Cotto clean out the division, hoping and wishing that someone along the lines of those fights gets lucky and he can continue to duck a real fight.

Cotto will beat Floyd and while Floyd continues to taint his title run at WW Cotto is going to keep it coming, Floyd can only hold the belt hostage for only so long, he will eventually be faced against prime cut and TRUE opposition and it wont be in the form of littkle ass, 1 dimensional Ricky Hatton. Floyd values his win over Ricky Hatton as a great win, he glorifies a sub par win instead of actually going for a TRUE GREAT win over the number 1 ranked Welterweight Miguel Cotto, he would rather build a false glorified image of Ricky Hatton's abilities, play with peoples minds into believeing that he's actually facing good competition and runs with it only to run back and fight that washed up Golden dude again all the while Cotto takes the back seat, he's reaping in the kind of glory that only a win over Miguel Cotto can give him, his whole reign right now is tainted and he is no longer the best pound for pound fighter in the world, period.
            ********************************************
it sounds like you actually believe that bull**** you're spewing!!!

i WOULD say floyd is "ducking" cotto, IF cotto actually had a chance to beat floyd. cotto is thee second best fighter in the division, very talented, courageous, etc. etc. but he cant beat floyd mayweather. what is one thing cotto does extremely well, to make you ppl think he actually has a chance to beat mayweather? NOTHING.

the problem is, when you're number 1, either ppl like you or not, but they always want more from you. i agree he should fight cotto (IF cotto beats margarito), but fine if he wants to make a quick 25 mil before hand. its not like cotto is "going" anywhere...........the problem is, when he beats cotto, then what??? the hate will never stop, it'll turn into fight paul williams b/c his height may give you problems.

floyd, just make your money and **** everybody else..........

its funny b/c every1 is taling mayweather-cotto, when cotto is in for the fight of his life against margarito next month! a huge fight is upcoming and haters still wanna talk about mayweather!!!

i read another post on here saying, "the fight between margarito and cotto will decide who the 'real' champion of the division is!" then why talk mayweather at all?? IF margarito wins, that makes him the TRUE champ? i'm sure paul williams would disagree..................

see how funny this **** is? cotto better not take his eye off the ball, cuz he loses to margarito, he can definitely forget about EVER fight pbf.

i said "25 MILLION REASONS" dumbass......

referring to the fact mayweather would make 20-25 million dollars for a rematch with de la hoya, as opposed to 8-10 million for a fight with cotto.

since you're obviously simpleminded, let me break it down for you:

hard fight and only make 10 MIL, or an easier fight w/ a guy you already beat for 25 MIL???

              choices, choices!!

Although a rematch would be warranted, I can't see Cotto taking this fight if he has any sense.

As a fan, how does Floyd's financial gain benefit you? Why would u rather see him take an easy fight for more money, rather than a tougher fight for less?

pretty much. that dude just said, "floyd, make your money, **** everyone else" which basically means, "floyd, keep fighting lesser opposition and charge me $55 because i will buy it either way and i'll keep calling you the best because thats the kind of "fan" i am!!!!"
