Why all the hate for Kimbo Slice?

I've read some articles on Kimbo and the story goes that he lived out of his truck for a brief time after his home was destroyed by Hurricane Andrew.

Kimbo was never homeless but way to try to make your story better. Kimbo actually had an Academic Scholarship to the university of Miami he went to school there. He also was on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football roster until he got in a fight with Warren Sapp and was kicked off the team. He is a body guard for the famous Milf Hunter **** company dudes. When kimbo was street fighting you had to wager $5,000 to fight him. Kimbo was never homeless or close to that. He's just a guy from the south that is big, mean, an liked to fight on the street.

I watched a fat doorman from Essex knockout Thompson in 10 seconds in Cage Rage.

He has one of the all-time worse chins in not just MMA.

Kimbo is the American dream though, how can you begrudge him anything? he puts himself out there.

I don't dislike him! I like him I wish him the best! I've watched all his mma fights and probably all his youtube videos im a fan of his!

I don't hate Kimbo, I just hate the hype. Kimbo is not skilled at anything. His boxing skills are overrated and his grappling skills are rudimentary. People are reasonable for overhyping Kimbo, particularly those that have never trained in boxing or mma. They got impressed seeing Kimbo in some very overrated bare knuckle fights on youtube. If he was really good with his hands, he would have been boxing a long time ago making millions. Kimbo is simply a muscular, somewhat strong, and scary looking street fighter being labelled as a MMA fighter. People bought into his scary looking image before analyzing his fighting ability. I feel bad for Kimbo because I think he will eventually go out like Bob Sapp.

I dont get it. The guy went from being homeless just a few yrs ago, to fighting in backyards, etc... just to be able to eat and feed his family. Now that he's getting some shine, many boxing fans seem to be hating on the guy. Yes, he might not be a well rounded fighter, but even he admits that. During the post-fight interview on Saturday, he even said that there is still alot for him to learn because he considers himself a "baby" to the sport. Now if he were running around talking **** about how he was the greatest thing to ever grace MMA, then i would understand the hate, but the guy is just trying to earn an honest living by fighting. I also think alot of the hate towards him has to do with MMA as a whole, as oppose to just him. Recently they have been getting alot of media attention, and the tv networks have been showing them alot of love. Dont get mad at the fighters or the MMA organizations. Get mad at the greedy boxing promoters and crooked sanctioning bodies for the lack of attention boxing has been recieving.

alot of MMA fans are racist rednecks Who love to see black fighters fail.

I `ve yet to see a black fighter in the MMA aside from Kimbo not get booed.

Kimbo is actually a humble guy. I had the idea for some reason that he was some bully. But watching some specials on him he's actually a good guy. And I enjoyed seeing him punch a guys ear off as well.

Not only was he not a bully,he was the ones beating up bullies in his neihborhood.
