Why all the hate for Kimbo Slice?

I hate on Kimbo because he is a bum, not because of the money he makes and all the hype. Let's be honest, that was one of the worst fights in the history of MMA and that is not an exaggeration. In order to be star there has to be some natural ability there, and with Kimbo there just isn't. Even his biggest strength (his striking)was exposed as mediocre when he hit the glass chinned Thompson flush several times without ending the fight.Comment

When ever has a HW boxer fought a top-tier opponent in his 3rd professional outing? The guy is new to the sport, and he's still learning.
P.S Comparing a con to a con is irritating? LOL.Comment

You can't compare the two as they are completely different in this regard. There are so many less MMA fighters than boxers and therefore the opponent pool is much smaller. Boxers have always been brought along slowly whereas MMA fighters are often thrown in with at least average competition from the get go.Comment

I'm not even just talking about his MMA ****. The street fighters he fought, by and large, were garbage. Dready was a fat useless turd. That Aryan dude clearly was terrible, he couldn't throw a proper punch, it was like he had T-rex arms.
And like your boy says MMA is way different to boxing in terms of the amount of competitors so dont even start on that.
Tyson was one of the most talented boxers in heavyweight history, period. I'd favour the 88' version of Tyson against any HW of all time, with the possible exception of '67 AliComment

Kimbo was never homeless but way to try to make your story better. Kimbo actually had an Academic Scholarship to the university of Miami he went to school there. He also was on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football roster until he got in a fight with Warren Sapp and was kicked off the team. He is a body guard for the famous Milf Hunter **** company dudes. When kimbo was street fighting you had to wager $5,000 to fight him. Kimbo was never homeless or close to that. He's just a guy from the south that is big, mean, an liked to fight on the street.I dont get it. The guy went from being homeless just a few yrs ago, to fighting in backyards, etc... just to be able to eat and feed his family. Now that he's getting some shine, many boxing fans seem to be hating on the guy. Yes, he might not be a well rounded fighter, but even he admits that. During the post-fight interview on Saturday, he even said that there is still alot for him to learn because he considers himself a "baby" to the sport. Now if he were running around talking **** about how he was the greatest thing to ever grace MMA, then i would understand the hate, but the guy is just trying to earn an honest living by fighting. I also think alot of the hate towards him has to do with MMA as a whole, as oppose to just him. Recently they have been getting alot of media attention, and the tv networks have been showing them alot of love. Dont get mad at the fighters or the MMA organizations. Get mad at the greedy boxing promoters and crooked sanctioning bodies for the lack of attention boxing has been recieving.Comment
