Haye is a huge puncher at Cruiserweight and he's a very big lad though.

Besides which Evander had 14 stoppage wins out of 18 fights at Cruiserweight and after turning heavyweight and after turning heavyweight stopped his first seven opponents including the undisputed champ James Buster Douglas.

It's also worth pointing out that Holyfield's amateur pedigree was at light heavy unlike Haye who did all his amateur fighting at heavyweight (which in amateur is up to 200 lbs). Haye is bigger than Holyfield both in height and in bulk, has more stoppages at cruiserweight and really, Holyfield only stopped knocking guys out at heavyweight later in his career.

But he won his silver medal in the World Championships as a heavyweight. Basically his biggest achievements at amateur were at heavy, Holyfield's best days were as a light heavy, and it took a long time for "Evan Fields" to fill out to Cruiserweight!
