    Cotto has not once beaten the best fighter in his division while he was in it

    140 = Kosta tsyzu

    147 = Floyd Mayweather

    he has been faced or beaten these. Plus he did'nt clean out 140 did he. tsyzu, Hatton and Mayweather were in there when he was there

    His best win is Mosley. Judah is the most over rated fighter on the planet, Whats his other great wins Quintanna who is a solid fighter and Paulie who is another who is only famous for having a big mouth and showing heart against cotto.
    Now Miguel is in my top 3 fave fighters but i am being realistic, beating mosley, margarito, qunintanna and Paulie does not make you a hall of fame fighter

      First of all, Mosley, Judah, and Quintana ALLLLL posed greater threats to Cotto then Torres and Cotto blew right by them.

      Torres isnt even that good fighter, he just caught cotto big time like 3 times in the fight, had like 10 minutes to finish the job and couldn't do it. A rematch would be pointless when u consider how much trouble cotto went through to make weight.

      If there was a rematch at 147, its a 2nd or 3rd round KO for Cotto and i mean that.

      And 2nd of all, Pinto and Branco were early in his career idk why u brought them up. Malignaggi is an EXCELLENT boxer that just lacks any inskill whatsoever. any boxing fan would be able to see that

      And i dont have a bias. Im not a Cotto fan. Im just telling you guys how i see it. You are CLEARLY the biased one, as you even admitted it by saying you hated Cotto in that very post.

      Dude, ur an idiot
      Wow, now i know that you are biased. No one wants their fighters to lose, but they still put them in their with people who have a chance. But sooner or later your going to have to fight someone that is dangerous. Zab and Mosley were at the end of their careers. Mosley was old and washed up and hadnt had a meaningful win in years. VArgas doesnt count because he lost to Mayorga after mosley and he had a bad back and a number of other things. They picked THE SAFEST fights for Cotto. The path of least resistance.

      And Torres posed a bigger threat looking back. The reason he wasnt supposed to be a threat is because nobody knew who he was and did you forget he was a late replacement. ome on. Torres had Cotto doing the chicken dance. None of the other three had Cotto like that, So how is it they were a bigger threat when they didnt even hurt him, but Torres almost KO'ed him?

      Yeah an Torresisnt that great of a fighter besides the fact the his only loss is to Cotto and that he is the champ at 140? How odd...............

        Yes I admit that, but thats only because HE HAS TOO. If he could have Mayweather right now he would. They want their return on the investment they put into Cotto. But up to this point, what 30 some odd fights in, they have taken the path of least resistance all the way.

          Surprise, surprise.
          Another Cotto-is-GOD-thread.

          Where do you rank Mosley on a HOF 147 pound career?
          Exactly.

          Mosley, an old, ******-headed version of Mosley, gave Cotto all he could handle, and arguably drew with him.
          A prime Cotto at that.

          Cotto's claim to fame is beating people that wouldn't stand even a 10% chance of finishing a fight with any of the true 147 HOF'ers.

          Good fighter? Yes.
          Great fighter? haha bloody ha.

            I would very much like to see Cotto fight Paul Williams, who if he performs with anything like the same speed and workrate we saw against Margarito might give him a frustrating fight. I don't think you can say that Cotto has cleaned out the division until he does this, because losing to Quintana does not mean that the man who beat Margarito is no longer a credible threat. Styles make fights.

              He is very close to the hall. I am still thinking about where the Marg win would put him myself. Interesting...

                HOF if he beats Margarito...im not sure. Your right that he is cleaning out the most loaded division in boxing and anyone who says that isnt impressive doesnt know what they are talking about. He doing all this having already beat most of (who are right now) the top guys and world champs at 140. On top of that hes undefeated. He is certainly on his way to the HOF and beating Margarito will bring him closer. Still, i think he needs to do a little bit more but he is well on his way.

                and HTownTexan is a f@gget. He is clearly hates Cotto with a passion and i think he has a crush on Ricardo Torres. Which is why he cant bare with the fact that Cotto KOd Torres as$. Torres is nothing special, Cotto vs Torres at 147 would be a nightmare for Torres.

                  shut the **** up dude, you're a joke.

                  suggesting that cotto has an easy resume is indicative of the ******ity of the person posting it.

                  you can't be ****en serious; but you are, because you're an idiot.
