I'd have to disagree. He was expected to win all of those(except the Mosley fight). The Mosley, Judah, and Quintana wins are very good. Paul Williams was overrated, and Collazo isn't anything special. If he can pack another 3 or 4 good opponents in the bag then I'd agree.

but Mayweather was expected to win all of his fights (and by large margin too) since the corrales fight. why is it different for him?

I don't know about HOF just yet but he sure will become the Top fighter in the WW and Floyd will become second.

But Floyd is already a HOF and top 50 greats. But when we speak of him in the WW div he became a DIVA.

Cotto doesnt call out fighters. Cotto is not a promoter, he is a boxer. he is doing what he does best which is fight and clean up the WW division.

If cotto had have sat there on tv after beating mosley and said i am the main man at ww, I am more entertaining to watch than Mayweather and I want to fight him then he would have got his shot by now imo

First off, Cotto has never hand picked his opponents. Like George said in his Torres fight, "you don't think your promoters will match you up with an equally puncher as you, and your in for the surprise of your life". That sums up some of his bouts. Cotto just goes through the motions and beats up his opponents as they are just in his way. It just so happens, big names have been in his way, and he's beaten them up good. Now Margarito, the man Floyd turned down what was it? 8 million to face? Now he's facing him. With Margarito out should he win, I don't see much more threats for Cotto at 147lbs, and he could do w/e hell he wants to cause he would be THE MAN. BTW-Torres didn't deserve that much of a rematch. He came in on short notice, fought Cotto at I think it was his last time at 140lbs when Cotto was struggling to make weight. If they ever fought again which I don't think Torres deserves a shot at this point, it would definitely be at 147lbs or higher. Whatever Cotto wants.

So that's what the Floyd stans say...funny cause that mean's **** to me when the man ducks real competition. Years after he's retired, I'll be talking about that fool who thought he was so good yet never proved it against real challengers. Instead he thought he could avoid what he claimed to be the best at by participating in everything that doesn't involve stepping in the ring against the best. What will you be saying?
