IF MIGUEL COTTO beats MARGARITO... He's a HOFer

He would have absolutely cleaned out the best division boxing has seen in a while.

    I mean, its crazy.

You cant mention a single name in the top 10 welteweight division without mentioning Cotto

    You Mention...
Mayweather: and Cottos name comes up for obvious reasons.

    Mosley: Cotto beat him

    Quintana: Cotto destroyed him

Williams: Quintana destroyed him, and Cotto destroyed Quintana

Margarito: Since this is an "if cotto beats marg" thread, then its cause Cotto beat him

Judah: Good god Cotto beat him

Clottey: Cotto "beat Margarito," and Margarito beat Clottey

Cintron: Cotto "beat Margarito" and Margarito destroyed Cintron twice

Jackson Bonsu: WHO THE **** IS THIS!!!!

Collazo: Mosley beat him, and Cotto beat Mosley.

I mean, Cotto beat all the big names already, especially if he beats Marg and goes on to beat like a Williams if Williams can bounce back and beat Quintana this saturday.

I'd say, if he gets past Margarito, he has secured himself a spot in the boxing HOF... or at least its arguable, and thats crazy to think about considering he is just getting into his prime as we speak...

Mosley: Cotto beat him (old washed up and NOT on Roids, where he is obviously at his best. Almost lost to Vargas the first fight. Then knocked out Vargas in a meaningless fight, who lost to Mayorga, and beat Luis C who lost to Ricky. Not a HOF.)

Quintana: Cotto destroyed him (Hand picked feather duster puncher, was in his first big fight.

Williams: Quintana destroyed him, and Cotto destroyed Quintana

Margarito: Since this is an "if cotto beats marg" thread, then its cause Cotto beat him

Judah: Good god Cotto beat him Coming off of 3 lossed, that include Floyd and Baldy. No where near HOF

You mean the guy who lost to a natural 140 lber? Oh yeah thats right, the guy who got dropped in the first round by the same 140 lber.

I mean he will be a HOF off of his name, hype, and extremely great - safe cherry picking off fights.

That's a good point, and he's only gonna get better. That's a scary thing for the other fighters out there.

I'd have to disagree. He was expected to win all of those(except the Mosley fight). The Mosley, Judah, and Quintana wins are very good. Paul Williams was overrated, and Collazo isn't anything special. If he can pack another 3 or 4 good opponents in the bag then I'd agree.

Cotto was the favorite in the Mosley fight. However, he's already close to the hall already.

Naw, But I can see through his career like a window. Never giving Torres a rematch proves that they didnt want him to lose and took the path of least resistence. Instead he fought feather fisted fighters and old washed up good names. Never gave Torres his just do. Now, I hate him as a fighter. Now they try to make him out to be an All Time great. **** that.

Urkal, Pinto, Branco, Paulie, Zab, and Mosley. Come on dude, open your eyes and look at it from an un biaesed point of view. You too will be able to see the truth.

why wouls they WANT him to lose. god ur incredibly ******.

First of all, Mosley, Judah, and Quintana ALLLLL posed greater threats to Cotto then Torres and Cotto blew right by them.

Torres isnt even that good fighter, he just caught cotto big time like 3 times in the fight, had like 10 minutes to finish the job and couldn't do it. A rematch would be pointless when u consider how much trouble cotto went through to make weight.

If there was a rematch at 147, its a 2nd or 3rd round KO for Cotto and i mean that.

And 2nd of all, Pinto and Branco were early in his career idk why u brought them up. Malignaggi is an EXCELLENT boxer that just lacks any inskill whatsoever. any boxing fan would be able to see that

And i dont have a bias. Im not a Cotto fan. Im just telling you guys how i see it. You are CLEARLY the biased one, as you even admitted it by saying you hated Cotto in that very post.

                Dude, ur an idiot

I think Cotto is going to give Margarito a boxing lesson. Cotto will use his jab and his boxing skills to keep Margarito at a distance. Margarito will come straight forward with no lateral movement just trying to connect power punches to no avail. Lets remember that Cotto is a good counter puncher packing a lot of power. He will punish the body making Margarito an easier target. Cotto will win.

Fighting Margarito kills any validity to the cherry picking theory.
