Quintana did more damage than margarito did.

Quintana inflated the **** out of williams eye and both were cut.

**** like that really shows the need for boxing scoring to be changed. The fighter who does more damage at the end of the fight should win.

The only way to TRULY beat those guys is to outslick them, and freeze the fight so you do more damage by almost completely limiting their offensive connection to nothing.

No wonder you get so frustrated with guys like Mayweather, because they are the only ones who have a chance to truly beat the guys you like.

only because margarito ruined him. williams was not his usual active self. he barely threw any punches. i bet we will see the same thing again in the rematch because margarito has definitely ruined this man.

Tony didn't inflict enough damage to ruin Paul but he left an impression. Quintana desreves full credit for beatin Williams like he did.

Margarito on an off night still almost beat Williams. The destruction of the Tijuana Tornado is devastating even on an off night

If Williams looks bad against Quintana again, all it means is that Quintana is a better fighter. Margarito's punching power is not extraordinary or crippling like Tito Trinidad, or Kelly Pavlik. He is just consistent and has a very high work rate.

Williams was never that great a fighter, he is just very physically gifted good fighter.

Prior to Margarito, who had Williams beat??

Probably because Quintana avoided a lot of the punches early and countered the **** out of Williams.

Well to be fair, Trinidad and Pavlik get their guys out before the damage can ensue because they punch so hard.

It is guys like Margarito and Chavez who consistently beat their opponent up with very hard shots, but they aren't KO shots, so the beating can continue.
