who would win a Margarito v Paul Williams rematch?

Margarito would win this time. He would nt be apprehensive and he knows he can take Pauls shots.
He starts early going to the body and scores a late tko. -
Williams IMO. He was too fast for Margarito and that wouldn't change. Margarito might be more aggressive in the early rounds but Paul would just be more cautious and then just take it away from him again.
It didn't look like Tony was likely to KO Williams, so I say same result, Williams decision, a little closer this time after Marg does better early on.
Bad style matchup for Tony.Comment

Depends what weight, but I think Paul Williams both at 147 and 154. Williams was confused with Quintana's movement. Margarito coming foward would be key to him.
He'd lose to Cotto though because Cotto is smarter with his pressure.
Also Margarito's "slow start" was due to the fact that Williams was overwhelming him with punches and Margarito couldn't fire back. It wasn't until Williams put less on his punches that Margarito started comebackLast edited by warp1432; 06-02-2008, 05:51 PM.Comment

I think those of you picking Margarito are succumbing to wishful thinking. Not dissing you, but from where I stood Williams was too classy for him. Styles make fights and Williams is a bad matchup for Tony in every way shape and form.Comment
