Pros: Quite fast hands, apparently decent power, never been stopped

Cons: Too square, too static, too easy to hit, looks physically weak.

IMO Pavlik will bully him around the ring very easily and hit him at will with the jab. Based on this I'd say kelly will KO him early, unless Lockett has improved a lot.

I think his lack of reach is gona give him big problems.

Yep, he was struggling to reach that little guy, so how he'll reach Kelly...

He should watch Hopkins fight and try and copy that.

Try and match spoil as much as much as possible, he has a good punch to keep Pavlik off him enough.

Doesn't look anything like strong enough to do that to Kelly, although this fight was 5 years ago so he might be a lot different now.

That fight was with a different trainer too interestingly. Time, and having Enzo Calzaghe training him, he has to be better now. Just a question of how much. He'll definitely be in his best shape for this fight, with a decent enough game plan. Just a shame really, he won't get to show half of what he can do against suck a top level, tall, long armed, strong, powerful opponent in Pavlik. A bad match up for him in many ways. I'm predicting him doing ok, showing real heart, doing as well as you can expert, surprising Kelly occasionally, but getting TKO/KO'd actually in R6, which for him is a big raise of game and respectable.

im sure lockett has improved since that fight, but i wasnt impressed at all. pavlik will impose his will and control the fight. early ko.

miranda in power, and we all saw how edison kept kelly away, lol.
