I saw an article in the paper the other day saying amhir Khan just wants to be left alone and get on with his life (not likely with the majority of the British Press Ruining celebrities lifes and exalting wanna be celebs that do nothing)

amen mate, too many arseoles in the press including boxing that put peope down all the time.
Did you hear that ****head commentor (Neilly I think) when Haye got stopped, "his career is in tatters, David hayes career is ruined in tatters" err no its not Jim, He just fought the wrong fight due inexperience and was overmatched against a seasoned old pro, whom he nearly stopped in the second. Its a setback at worst.
For crying out loud these are the same pundits who slate Hatton and Calzaghe for taking easy fights, then run down a decent prospect who takes a chance. You cant have it both ways, what do you want endless stiffs being marched up to take a beating for 5 rounds or a decent 50/50 fight, I know what I would pay to see.
We love people to lose us brits. Strange race that we are.

He's a lightweight if im not mistaken
I really would not mind if he had chosen to stay in the amatures for another two years, he's just so damn young and will run the risk of burnbing out to soon.
I think if he really wanted to be big he would sign with an American promoter like Arum
I'll be rooting for him

The thing with Khan is that NOW it the time he is hot. He could wind up having zero recognition by 2008, and he might be missing out on easy paychecks. Maybe its best to wait but it sure as hell is not a easy decision.

i think it would be his biggest mistake............way too young and still a ****** in the sport. unless of course, if he was to box out of germany and face no-hopers for a few years....like the other german fighters do when they enter the pro ranks.
if he was to fight proper opposition at the start, he would be battered!
