Forrest looked horrible in the Ike fight because he was just coming off a shoulder surgey, but his last two fights have been great!

His last two opponents made Forrest appear to look great. I think Mora will bring a more difficult style. If he wins that fight handily then I'll be willing to revise my opinion.

Mayorga would beat him a third time.

I wish I had more points on this board to bet you...LOL Forrest had been fighting injured for years. This is the first time he's been healthy for quite some time. He was actually having shoulder problems when he beat Mosley. Now, I believe he would be able to keep Mayorga off of him and knock him out.

Aint too many places he can go. 154 is dead. Few big name fighters. Obviously he won't get an Oscar fight at this stage, and he was always too tricky/ not marketable enough for the Golden Boy to consider him as a viable opponent anyway. There's guys out there like Verno and Sechew he can fight, but he likely won't get paid much and few people care about those fights. I wouldn't mind seeing him and Verno actually. But real big fights elude Vernon, unless he wants to try his hand at 160 against Wink

mayorga is the bigger easier money fight for him .
vernon maynot use his power punches as much now but he has much more boxing skills than he had in previous mayorga fights. and mayorga is more clown than clever at this stage in his carrer.
