Haye could be an hype job and yes that's a possibility but at least he has guts, more guts than ANY of the HW today. He bring s excitement and that's what the division needs. He's already a star and he's like 27. He hold 4 cruiserweight belts.

Oversized bums.
Now seriously, that's not a bad fight to watch while we wait for Haye. But remember, if Wladimir wants any chance to win he should fight Haye under 40 years of age. Not everyone is a Lennox Lewis who fought his last fight vs Vitali at 39 and won TKO (dispite a poor performance)
He was 37 and said, pre-fight, that he was in top shape, wanted to fight Roy Jones after, also had other fights in mind. No sign of retiring. Also said he was a 5 dimensional champion. He turned out to be a 5 delusional champion and was lucky the doctor made an error and stopped the fight over a cut which had been under control for 2 **** rounds, just at a time when Lewis was worn out and barely made it to his stool. It was a toss up whether he'd come out for the next round.

And about Lennox, he retired on the right time. It's hard to be taken seriously when you say Vita retired Lewis when he, Vitali was stopped by TKO. How far up his ass do you have to be? I mean, Lewis had a terrible performance but have no doubt that resulted almost exclusively of the 1 year layoff, age and number of fights, it had little to do with what Vitali did. He still won by TKO age 38 and coming from a 1 year layoff. You look really ****** bashing a legend like that especially when you know your boy Wlad (or Vitali) won't be around nearly as long to allow a young lion a chance like Lewis did.
Lewis was 37 and about 5=6 months. Klitscho chased him into retirement long before he wanted. No point in going into it again.

That's 3 belts. He apparently didn't want any of Cunningham.

Agreed. Any of the top heavyweights would KO Haye. I do not see him calling out Nicolai Valuev. LOL.

I'm a big fan of Vitali but I thought that the doctor did the right thing. Further punishment of that eye could result in permanent damage. While I agree that Lewis didn't look so hot after the last round, Vitali could still lose by not able to continue if Lewis put more pressure on that cut. Imagine what the morons would be saying after that about him.

I understand your points, but Lewis was putting as much pressure on the cut as he could, with both fists and head. The cut was under control, and there was no damage to his eye, it was his eyebrow which was cut, or torn.

The "famous" picture that anti-Klitschko-ites love to show, with pieces of lint sticking around K's eyebrow, (done of course AFTER the fight had ended) and blood trickling down from the two superficial cuts under the eye, SHOW that Klitschko's eye was WIDE OPEN, and he had NO eye problems. It was tough luck for him since he was well on his way to victory in another round or two the most..........

The doctor made a mistake and tried to excuse it later by saying that Klitschko couldn't open his eyelid., and had to lift his head to see him. Weeeelllll.....naturally he had to lift his head since the doctor was standing right over him, a few inches away, and Klitschko's eye was at the level of the doctors' belly button. Personally I believe that Klitschko, who's English was VERY poor then (not much better now) and under stress, with the huge hubbub as the cornermen were doing their work, actually either didn't hear the doctor or didn't understand what he said. Because HIS EYE WAS WIDE OPEN.

It was the nitwit George Foreman who suddenly started bawling "his eye is BaaaaD... he can't see, he has only one eye ....etc. when nothing was further than the truth. Tough luck when the title was within his grasp. For me to keep talking about it is "flogging a dead horse".

Yea only one was a knockdown. I cant imagine how anyone can see the 5th round Kd's as legit, especially the second one. That was clearly a push and slip.
