But muscle/fat ratio really belongs to the Felines. Take a wild Jaguar or Bengal Tiger. Pure muscle.
Primates are frugivores. Meaning, they basically sustain on a fruit and veggie diet. Surprisingly, humans are also frugivores-although, you'll probably never meet a health professional that will tell you that. We were all brought up to believe we've been eating meat since forever but it simply isn't the case. Meat is not healthful, and humans were never really meant to consume it. The idea that we need loads and loads of protein is untrue. It's junk science that has no merit whatsoever. Consider this: mother's breast milk is considered the perfect food for an infant. Yet, it only contains 1% protein. Think about that...

pitbull
I just stumbled across this thread an had to put my 2 cents in about pitbulls there great fighting dogs but there by no means the best, russia has a fighting dog that beats pitt's all the time, the kurdish kangal there probably the best fighting dog there is, well im no expert by any means but i do alot of research on fighting dogs I have a 1 year old american pittbull thats about 56lbs and an 200lbs english mastiff which i use for hog hunting and ive seen them fight, the english mastiff is too strong for the pitt an pins him down by the neck. well go to this website http://www.free-ebooks.net.ru/dogs/dog_fighting.htm theres pics of game pitts fighting other breeds an loosing badly an if you go to the bottom of the site theres alot of fighting videos of pitts vs russias fighting dog an other breeds one pitbull even dies in the video. O an im not against pitt's they are one of my favorite dogs I just think when someone says they can beat any dog in the world thats just foolish.Last edited by bigcountry350v8; 12-09-2008, 01:40 PM.

Ive seen 40lb pittys bring down scub bulls and water buffalo that weigh 1000lb .
The breed has fought and beaten Japanese Tosa,s many times in japan and Asia , Tosa's out weigh them by a 70lbs ,, think Pavlik beating Tyson thats what you have here .
Domestic animal vs wild animal has been fought ever since time began and man owned a dog , ever heard of bull baiting , lion baiting etc etc .
Ricky you say some of the most ignorant of things on the board and not just about boxing , I was the first to import American bred PitBulls into Australia 25 yrs ago , I have seen a lot with this breed over the years from weight pulls to dog fights to catching wild boar and they are truly remarkable dogs much maligned and a lot of miss information out there , I will quote something said to me by famous American breeder 94yr old Pete Sparks many years ago ,,,
" A pitbull can do anything any other breed can do and then kick his ass "
I used to have a Blue Chow (chou? sp?) that always intimidated my other two dogs which were Rottweilers. They were yard dogs. We'd let em' out when we closed up shop. Saw my buddy's Blue Chow shaved one time. Looked alot like a pit to me...was the meanest dog I ever knew. Are they related to Pits by any chance and how would they stack up against a Pit?
