They have got a couple of the young females and babys , they couldnt handle a big male , I used to course Roos with dogs when I was a young fella , they can really fight and will head straight for a dam and jump in the middle and as a dog swims to them they grab them with their hands and hold them under water to drown them , the big males can get 200lbs or more .

Im not on the island but the mainland and can see the island if I got on my roof , yeh is awesome up here mate , love the climate and wildlife and fresh air you couldnt get me out of here with a crow bar .

About the highlighted , dont you believe it , in the core they are bred the same as they always were and they always will be , your referring to some old tales , most dogs owned by the top guys are well tested before being bred you can believe that , you dont find these dogs in the corner pet shop or the weekend classifieds , those dogs pics can be traced on paper to the 1800s and in that time only 4 men have had a hand at breeding that pure family of dogs , Bert Sorrels pictured is one of the greatest breeders of bulldogs that ever lived , he had more Mayweathers and Cottos in his life than you can poke a stick at .

You didn't see no such thing.

A single blow from a Cougar would kill any dog..especially a pit bull..

Cats are able to hunt alone because of the damage they can inflict with those claws.

I had a Chihuahua x Fox Terrier that was a hell of a den dog , she would fight and drive a fox out of den in a few minutes , I was always worried about her in the big dens in case she put up a wombat because she was pretty game and a wombat will stand up and squash a little dog against the den wall and kill them and Jatz was my daughters favorite and I didnt want to lose her , she ended up getting bit by a tiger snake , real good little dog . man you making me remember the good old days , Ive owned 100s of dogs , they were my life for a long time .

Pit bulls are strong to HUMANS but a Pit bull hasn't got a ****ing chance against a fully grown Cougar. I'd pick a German Shepherd over a Pit too.

Very overrated animal, I'd bet that the much smaller Wolverine would beat a Pit bull one on one.
