[QUOTE=Devious.;3562870]I Also Hattons fights Pre Mayweather didn't do all that hot here in the United States.

    QUOTE]

I'd dissagree there, I went to the urango and Castillo fights in the usa and there was 8-10000 Hatton fans there for urango and the thomas and mack centre was sold out with 95% Hatton fans for the castillo fight

        Hatton is a bigger draw.

And Cotto would kick the **** out of him.

It has yet to be seenm but you cant pass judgement on who is bigger yet.
Then how come Gomez-Cotto did the lowest ratings on HBO ever when Hatton-Castillo didn't?

English people are way more passionate about sport than Puerto Ricans. When they get behind anything they really get behind it. Chants and the works like against Mayweather. Puerto Rico I really don’t think they would pack Wembley stadium if they had a stadium of that class.

If I recall the ratings were pretty low as well... Castillo is a known opponent.. Gomez really isn't despite The Contender.

DLH just said that Hatton is the biggest draw in boxing and the only thing that he can compare to it was the support Chavez had in Mexico.

It wasnt the lowest ever. Calzaghe/Kessler was.

That's what it all comes down to. Cotto isn't as popular as a Hatton, but he's not exactly a John Ruiz either. He brings a crowd in, he has PR on his back and he's the most legitimate contender to Mayweathers supremacy

If he beats Margarito in July boxing fans should unite to DEMAND this damn fight, bottom line.
boxing fans already demand floyd/cotto... it's the casual fans that have to demand the fight.
