I'm guessing this is about my thread.

I'm also guessing that you didn't read the post where I said I wasn't taking sides, I was actually just curious.

Cotto isn’t known outside of New York or Puerto Rico. Hatton is the most likeable character and the arguably the biggest draw in boxing today after Wlad.

not about you but you did say he was a bigger draw than hatton?

the person who said this pretends to be a mayweather fan but talks **** about him 24 hours 7 days a week on these forums.

I didn't say either way. I said that he was a bigger PPV attraction, but Hatton was a bigger gate attraction. I don't think that definitively swings it one way or another. I did also forget to factor in UK PPV buys when I made the thread, which kind of ruins my thread, but... you know, whatever.

                Agree or Disagree?

                I disagree.

Of COURSE hatton is more popular in his home country...

i mean who else can sell 55K tickets to see a tune-up fight?

however its not like Miguel cotto has returned to his home country since the bigger wins of his career (ie. wins over judah and mosley) so you cant really say FOR SURE who's the bigger draw in their respective countries or in the U.S. because hatton fought mayweather, of course that would sell tons of tickets.

Love or hate floyd people go out to see him either win...or go to see him in hopes that he loses...he's the p4p champ of the world...

if cotto beats margarito and fights floyd im sure it will do great numbers as well...

im on the fence on this one but i believe you have an arguement if you say cotto or hatton...time will tell who's the bigger draw.

I disagree with this thread. Hatton fills up Wimbley but it's because he is in his home country. Cotto has not fought in Puerto Rico in the longest so you don't know how big of an audience he could pack.. Cotto fights in the states which is not his home.. Many people tend to forget this. Also Hattons fights Pre Mayweather didn't do all that hot here in the United States.

It has yet to be seenm but you cant pass judgement on who is bigger yet.

Is that why the Las Vegas tickets are selling well?

It actually really hasn't been an insane amount of time... Urkal was in Puerto Rico I believe.

But since he has distinguished himself as a star he hasn't been back.
