  • Why do Fraud stans avoid this truth?

    Floyd after the Hatton fight.

"I don't want a part of no welterweights".

The guy said it himself immediately after fighting a jr. welter that hes simply not interested in fighting welters, how does anyone have this cat as the best fighter today?

Floyd is the "best fighter today" because of what he achieved in his career at weights below welter, and the fact he's won a welter belt. thats championships at five weight classes! He's also the most technically proficient boxer on earth and one of the most naturally gifted.

If he really doesn't want to fight the welterweights he should just come out and confirm that publicly, there's no shame in saying "welterweights are too big for me", he'd still be P4P #1.

However I suspect the remark is being taken out of context, I'm pretty sure Floyd could beat anyone at welter right now, and I think he must know it too. Probably he was, rather than putting himself down, doing his usual thing of putting his potential opponents down i.e I don't want no welters cause they aren't good enough for me.

But, the fact of the matter remains, he has fought and won at 147. And, he already has confirmed publicly that he doesn't want to fight welterweights. He said it immediately after his last welterweight fight. Floyd couldn't beat the top 4 fighters in the division right now, which is why since November 2006, he hasn't fought a single one and made a ****load of excuses as to why. If he really felt he could do it, and if it was such easy work as he has said, why not just do it? Easy work, easy money, only a fool would refuse it, only a stan would believe it.

btw, what Floyd did at 130 and 135 over 4 years ago, has no bearing on todays pound for pound landscape. But if thats how you want to gauge it, lets throw in DLH as a number one contestant too, for he fought at 130 also and moved up farther to claim a middleweight title

                  Floyd is SMALLER than Hatton..

                  Ricky started at 140..

MOST of Floyd's 39 fights came at 130 and 135..

                  HE'S THE SMALLER MAN..!!

                  THAT is the TRUTH..

Hatton could have had the fight at 140 but wanted no parts of Floyd..

                  THE TRUTH.

                  Ya'll quit hating..

Cotto would fight Oscar in a flash if he had the chance..

Margarito would push his mother in front of a train for a chance to fight Oscar.

I hate to tell ya'll this..

                  but..

The Oscar that Floyd beat at 154 is better than Cotto and Marge..

Besides Oscar...Floyd is the ONLY Welter that won a Title at 154..

Margarito was expelled from Jr Middle by Santos..so you KNOW he can't beat Oscar at 154..

Cotto would be butchered at 154(where he belongs)..He'd be fighting guys that outweigh him for a change..Cotto's stumpy frame..short arms..and ****ty defense would be easilly exploited at that weight

Many predicted Hatton to break Floyd's ribs..now the same "guys" have flip-flopped..claiming Ricky was just too small..

All hopes are on Cotto now..

Floyd is all wrong for Cotto on so many levels it ain't even funny any more.

Floyd is 5'8, Hatton is 5' 6 and half. Thats the truth. The rest of your post I'll just disregard until you face up to the facts that Floyd is indeed bigger than Hatton. Now get with the program and stay truthful, its what this thread is about, FACTS!
