Are Brits the Least Knowledgeable Fans in Boxing?

Most Brits thought Hatton would beat Mayweather. Most Brits are impressed by Calzaghe's win over a 43-year-old Hopkins. Most Brits think Khan will fight a good fighter before his 30th fight. Most Brits think Haye is going to knock out everyone in the heavyweight division...

Seriously, these are the most delusional fools I have ever seen...

i agree with everything but that last part.

I think Haye could do some damage at Heavyweight, and at least he is an exciting fighter thats gonna breathe some fresh air into the division

          No the Floyd boys are.

Actually this troll has a point, us Brits did think Hatton would win.

Thankfully I wasn't one of them

          You're still a fanny though.

You gotta feel for them though. They only have 3 decent fighters at any given time so I can forgive them for not realizing their boys are outmatched. I actually hope Haye takes over the heavyweight division because he has more charisma than anybody in there right now. Americans certainly aren't going to do it.

But when it comes to Hatton and Calzaghe, yeah they don't really have the first clue about how boxing works.

I'd probably be inclined to agree if you said "The average Hatton fan were the least knowledgeable fan in boxing."

I don't think Brits in general are the most knowledgeable, just biased towards their own fighters.

These guys are annointing Haye the king at HW after just one win against a bum. It's nothing new...

Americans are more realistic about fights. No one was saying Timothy Bradley was going to go into England and beat Witter because chances are he was going to lose...
