Didnt Floyd fight Gatti for a VACANT title?

no, ..............but my point is that had baldy never been stripped, floyd would be the unified champ.......cotto wouldn't have a title unless floyd gave up one of the titles in which i think he did.......but it wasn't the one quintana and cotto fought for.........and that cotto would've had to have waited in line or be forced to fight some of the top guys......cotto as a champ has fought some decent guys judah, 36 year old shane, and now adding quintana as good wins.......nothingmargs fought clottey, lost to williams and cintron twice....... would you say margs has fought the better welters than both floyd and cotto, and how would that help margs in a fight with either cotto or floyd????

This is laughable, Gatti won "his" Vacant title before he fought PBF. He defended it 3 times before he fought PBF so am sorry that doesnt equal fighting for a vacate title.

Belts don't equate to "best", in fact belts are increasingly redundant in modern boxing. Mayweather hasn't fought a proper welterweight in eighteen months, bottom line, and in the interim Cotto has beaten Judah (in much meaner fashion than Floyd) and Sugar Shane, MAYWEATHER MUST FIGHT COTTO

what's even more laughable is how these cotto fans forget what floyd said about cotto after his fight with hatton when floyd said(on espn later after the post fight press conference), i would love to fight cotto, but deep down, he knows he can't beat me............Starledger.com is where i also read his words..............i guess i made that up too...........lol......cotto fans can only interpret floyd's words as floyd being scared.........and when you see Dee say floyd didn't say exactly what you said........although i interpreted that as floyd saying all cotto has to do is call me out.........even though floyd said, talk to me.........i'm totally wrong........lol......snicker..........cotto fans........i'm a floyd fan and respect cotto entirely.........
