Is Joe Calzaghe ducking Roy Jones?

I'll make it before anyone else does.. It's inevitable it will happen anyway.

If Joe Calzaghe decides to fight Kelly Pavlik, does that mean he is ducking Roy Jones JR?

    You're joking right?
If anything, it's the other way around!
Calzaghe would walk all over Roy but he would have a little trouble with Pavlik.

Of course not, he's spoken out publically numerous of times saying it's his most likely fight, and one that he wants. He doesn't say **** like that for kicks. Roy's demanding too much money, despite saying he should now be the one to chase the top guy in Joe, in his backyard. I hope it leads to Calzaghe fighting Kelly and beating him this year when age wise he'd have his best chance. Then he'd be an even bigger name, and Roy would have absolutely nothing to stand on to demand such a fee, as Calzaghe would've beaten a great young p4p champion and his name would be bigger in the USA than it previously was.

Dumbasses will say he is ducking either one, no matter who he chooses. They are both top level fighters and I am fine with whomever he chooses to face off with.

It's not about ducking, but I do think Joe should fight someone at 175, rather than picking on a middlerweight.

Let Pavlik have his reign at 160. It won't last forever, but it doesn't need to be interrupted by chasing paper fights

                  Pavlik > Jones....
No doubt that Jones is a risk but Pavlik's name holds the greater weight...You take out Pavlik then seek another champion: that will shut the haters up 4real..

After the success of the Jones/Trinidad fight, Jones proved he is still a PPV draw and Calzage/Jones would be bigger than a Calzage/Pavlik fight in terms of numbers. No one thought the Hopkins fight would happen either, have patience.
