You probably would've said the same thing before the first Oscar fight. He had people walking out before the Baldomir fight is over because they are so bored, he has HBO criticising him, but did it change his approach? Nope. He was happy to be boring against DLH once, and will be happy to be boring against him again.

I also doubt that he'll be accepting a fight with Cotto. Ever.
Dont be a robot..think for yourself.

Oscar didn't had as much pop in his punches as in the past. I think a stronger, tougher Forbes would have won that match. If that's the best ODLH can do, he shouldn't even step into the ring.

That being said, I don't think Mayweather will risk a rumble with DLH.

i agree that Cotto-Mayweather would be good for the sport. But Oscar-Floyd again would not generate too much interest cause the first fight wasn't great and the average dude don't want to pay 50 bucks to watch that again. I don't see Pac bulking up 10 pounds at this point in his career, and while pound-for-pound they are evenly matched, i don't know if Pac would be the same with an extra 10 pounds on him. Cotto-Hatton could generate some interest too, although Hatton would obviously be destroyed.

but if you're tryin to attract new people to the sport, Wlad isn't the guy. The US fans would not identify with some large Ukranian (or russian?) from Europe.

                Mayweather vs Cotto

                Pac vs Hatton

                Calzaghe vs Roy Jones

add anoter one, K. Pavlik vs Calzaghe.

Haye vs Klit is no mega fight, they might make big money but they will not save boxing. The way Slaptsko or Hugsko fighting now, it will turn off the fans. As for Haye, his not a mega star yet.

Actually, the US is the mecca of boxing. You can't deny it.

Boxing's been an international sport for a long time.

Fighters from all over the world have been top fighters for awhile.

The only main difference nowadays is the HW division being dominated by East Europeans.
