Instinctively I'll say Sugar Ray Leonard. The man beat Hagler, Hearns, and Duran. Hell, those are 3 of the very best since 1980.

Leonard is up there with Hearns, Kalule, Duran, Hagler, almost had Benitez (late 1979). He doesn't have the type of consistency of being active and beating solid quality fighters as others, like Chavez, Whitaker or Lewis, for example, do.

That's correct. Our only pro boxer is 0-2-1 though. I also wanted to say Holyfield, but to be Ray Leonard in the 80's meant you were not to be f#cked with.
