No. We're saying the fact that he fought in a different country affected his RECORD. God, you're slow. He should've won.

Was he not knocked down twice then?

I'd disagree there too, I thought Sewano did enough to take it. It's obvious you have no intetion on posting reasonably though.

      Troll.

First of all, Hopkins deserved the decision. Or did it not strike you as odd that he went and fought in his opponent's backyard, got dropped TWICE and STILL got a draw? That means he was ****ING ROBBED.

Hopkins dropped Mercado twice (at least) as well but every time he dropped him, it was ruled a slip. Second, Hopkins was gassed by the middle rounds, unable to adjust to the high altitude. And he still put it on Mercado. Except the judges - like the ref- ****ted on him and he got a draw instead of a win. In the rematch, he beat that azz until the ref saved Mercado.
I think his point was more that Hopkins only fought out of the US twice in his entire career, and one of those times was dropped twice by a club fighter at best. To call Mercado a journeyman is an insult to journeyman everywhere.

Hasn't Calzaghe been dropped in his own country twice?

Did he not get up and knock both opponents down after that?

I'm failing to see your point.

I think it would help if you made one.

I think his point was, both of those opponents were far above the level of a Mercado.
